Google Webmaster Guidelines Update Calls “Low Quality Guest Blog Posts” Spam Low quality guest blogging is considered little or no original content by Google seo SEO SPAM Google has updated their webmaster guidelines, specifically in the  little or no original content  guideline, to add “low-quality guest blog posts” as an example of “scraped content.” Brian Ussery  first  spotted this change, noting how Google has been fighting the use of guest blogging and posting around link building. Specifically when Google’s head of search spam said  guest blogging is done  for SEO purposes. Since then, Google has  penalized   several  guest blog networks and continues to set their targets on low-quality guest blogging that aims at manipulating their search results. ComScore: Yahoo Bounces Back From All-Time Low In Search Share

ComScore: Yahoo Bounces Back From All-Time Low In Search Share With 3% more searches than the previous month, Yahoo pulls back above 10% market share. Bing also gains while Google falls slightly. After dropping below a 10% market share for search for the first time in June, Yahoo creeped back above that threshold, according to  ComScore’s July search engine rankings . Yahoo checked in with a 10.0% share, a 0.2 percentage point gain  over its record low in June . Yahoo had 1.8 billion searches in the month, a 3% increase over June. Yahoo’s month-over-month percentage change beat the industry overall by three times. ComScore reported 18 billion total searches in July, a 1% increase. Google (12.1 billion searches) and Bing (3.5 billion) also were each up 1%. In market share Bing jumped slightly — 0.1 percentage point — to give it 19.3%, while Google’s share fell 0.2 percentage points to 67.4%. Yahoo!在7月重回美國網站訪客流量首位!!!

Yahoo!從去年力圖重振,後續也做了不少調整,例如大量收購、集中員工工作生產力,並且推出新服務內容等。而在經過一段重新調整時間後,目前相關成果也反應在網站使用流量表現,終於在7月間於美國境內超越Google使用流量,重新返回首位。 根據 市調單位comScore 針對美國境內網站服務流量統計顯示,在今年7月針對各家網站服務的每月不重複獨立訪客數量排名中,Yahoo!旗下服務網站不重複獨立訪客數加總正式超越Google旗下服務網站,約為1.97億名訪客在2013年7月間造訪Yahoo!旗下服務內容網站。 而Google服務網站則約有1.92億名訪客造訪,其後分別為微軟 (約1.8億名)、Facebook (約1.42億名)、AOL (約1.17億名)與亞馬遜 (約1.1億名)等 值得留意部分,由於Yahoo!在今年5月中旬 才正式宣佈收購Tumblr消息 ,並且在今年6月下旬才完成整個收購,目前仍維持Tumblr獨立運作,因此在comScore統計數據中仍將其訪客數據分開計算。若將Tumblr於2013年7月達成0.38億次造訪數予以加總,Yahoo!整體不重複獨立訪客造訪數量將會再往上擴大。 而跟去年同期比較,Yahoo!整體訪客流量恰好與去年走勢接近。不過,去年再年中後雖然呈現上升,卻在年底期間呈現下滑走勢,因此今年是否能因為併購、組織重整與服務調整等因素重新往上持續攀升,就要看執行長Marissa Mayer未來將如何帶領Yahoo!發展。 此外,就comScore近期所釋出相關統計數據顯示, 7月內於美國境內搜尋引擎使用排名 依序為Google、微軟與Yahoo!,其次分別為Ask Network與AOL;而 同樣在7月內於美國境內的線上影音使用排名 部分,首位依然是Google (YouTube),依序則分別是Facebook、AOL、VEVO、微軟,其次才是NDN、Yahoo!、Viacom、亞馬遜與Turner。
